Do You Need A Minister?

Sometimes knowing what church your ancestor likely attended can be determined by the name of the minister. Finding the name of the minister can be a challenge. Have you looked at marriage licenses, funeral announcements in the newspaper, baptismal records of children, and similar records that could contain the minister's name? Of course, check these records not only for your ancestor of interest, but also their siblings as well.

Having the minister's name could lead you to the church and its records.
